Background

Procedure/Example

  1. Create a TPG variable to hold the SPI output data. If the data is larger than 32 bits, create an array.


  2. To select a variable to capture the SPI SO (return) vector, go to the 'SPI Port Vectors' screen as shown below.


  3. In the 'SPI Port Vectors Screen', select a variable to store the SO vector, as shown below. If the SO vector is larger than 32 bits, select an array. Also select utility lines to communicate between the PE serial shift register and the PE sequencer. Any of the utility lines 1 through 8 may be used. Type the vector length in the 'Vector Length' box.
